Ephemeral, 4.75″ round, oil

Light dancing through the clouds at the edges of the day, inviting our minds into less heavy places. This is a delicately painted oil piece, and uses a circle to guide our eyes upward. The circle itself is constructed from old scratched music CDs, adhered together, paper mached, and then gesso-ed and sealed for painting oil. Within this round painting, there is literally music and a new purpose.

Note, this is a small piece, the size of a music CD: about 4.75 inches in diameter.
