Privacy Policy
Overview
To operate our business via the internet and communicate with you, it is sometimes necessary for us to collect or process information about you. There are two types of information that are collected via this site: information you provide directly when you contact us, and information that is sent automatically to this site’s web server via your computer’s internet browser – e.g., your computer’s technical address (or ‘IP address’), what web browser you use, etc. This privacy policy sets out the detail of what information we collect, as well as how that data is used.
Who we are
This site is owned and operated by Christine White Art (“we,” “us,” or “our”) out of the state of California within the United States of America. Information here applies to the following websites: www.christineewhite.com, www.christinewhiteart.com, and www.paintharmonic.com.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Contact page: This site hosts a contact page. Should you choose to communicate with us via one of the social media mechanisms listed on the contact page then you will be redirected to that social media platform and their privacy policies apply. Should you choose to communicate with us via email, the privacy settings of your email platform will apply. The information you share – your usernames for social media, your email address and/or the text in your question for why you are reaching out – is read by our team so we can understand your question and communicate in reply to you. We do not share or sell this – or any other information – you provide.
Cookies: We do not set cookies intentionally nor use data collected by cookies. Your web browser and the internet in general may do this, but we do not access that information for any purposes. That is why there is no “accept” or “reject” cookies choices on this site. We have no login capabilities outside of the Christine White Art team, and we want you to be able to freely navigate this site without tracking.
Embedded content from other websites: Posts on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your information – collected inadvertently as you use the internet, or provided when you contact us – with anyone.
How long we retain your data
For users of our contact page, your name, email, and question will be retained as long as we are in communication regarding your question. It is retained on our email server, and when the communication is closed, the email will be archived and accessible to us for 12 months before it is automatically deleted, unless you direct us otherwise. If you communicate with us via social media, the social media thread with your question will persist until either you or we delete the thread.
What rights you have over your data
If you have communicated with us, you can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
If you email us, your inputs are sent to this site’s web server.
